Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

We want everyone to be able to browse the wall, click its buttons and rent one. This statement explains what we do and where we still fall short.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act.

What we do

  • Every button on the wall is a real link with a text label, so it works with a keyboard and screen readers.
  • Pages use semantic HTML with one main heading, landmarks, breadcrumbs and a “skip to content” link.
  • Keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Forms have visible labels, and errors are announced to assistive technology.
  • If you ask your device to reduce motion, we turn off movement in our animations.
  • Text is set in a readable typeface and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.

Known limitations

  • The wall is a fixed 1,000 × 1,000 pixel canvas. On small screens you scroll it sideways, and small buttons can be hard to tap.
  • Choosing a spot is done by clicking or dragging on the wall, which needs a mouse or touch screen. If you can’t use it, email us the size and area you’d like and we’ll set up your button for you.
  • Buyers choose their own colors and text. We review every button, but we can’t guarantee that every button’s contrast meets WCAG.
  • The checkout page is run by Stripe, which publishes its own accessibility information.

Feedback and help
